Mayor Noble Announces 56th Annual Children’s Day Parade to Be Held on July 10, 2026
Registration Now Open!
KINGSTON, NY – Mayor Steven T. Noble and the City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce the 56th Annual Children’s Day Parade will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026. The theme this year is Marvel Movies & Comics.

Mayor Noble said, “We are proud to bring the Children’s Day Parade back for its 56th year. The parade is a beloved tradition that our community looks forward to every year. This is a great opportunity for Kingston’s youth and families to come together, celebrate, and show off their creativity.”
Lynsey Timbrouck, Director of the Kingston Parks and Recreation Department said, “As always, we are thrilled to bring the Children’s Day Parade back for the community! This year’s Marvel Movies and Comics theme was the clear fan-favorite and will no doubt bring some fun, creative energy to the event.”
Parade Route
The parade will step off Pine Grove Avenue onto Broadway at 6:00pm. The parade will proceed up Broadway and onto Albany Avenue, make a right turn onto Clinton Avenue and then another right turn onto Westbrook Lane. Floats and units will then continue down Westbrook Lane, pass the Herzog’s lumberyard, and will take the next left towards the back of Herzog’s store.
