Issued October 28th, 2021
In response to COVID-19 and the state of emergency the pandemic has caused, and in an effort to begin reopening restaurants in the safest possible way, the City of Kingston has introduced an Outdoor Dining season where restaurants and retail business can utilize municipal areas. In the interest of assuring the safety of all residents and visitors to this area, certain traffic restrictions will be in effect.
Therefore, I, Steven T. Noble, Mayor of the City of Kingston, by the power vested in me by the Charter of the City of Kingston declare:
From 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30th, 2021, through 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, November, 28th, 2021, there will be no parking on Wall St at the spots associated with Meter #338 and no parking in the yellow loading zone on John St. outside Hotel Kinsley. This order is contingent on the State Liquor Authority’s continued approval.
