Next Round of 2022 Paving Announced
KINGSTON, NY – Mayor Steven T. Noble and the Department of Public Works are pleased to announce the next round of paving will be Prince Street from Jansen to Foxhall, Garden Street from Foxhall to Hasbrouck, and East O’Reilly from Hasbrouck to Broadway.
DPW has begun preparing the area for paving. Milling will begin on or about Monday, July 25, 2022 and paving is expected to be completed by Friday, August 5, 2022, weather depending.
“Thanks to the Department of Public Works, the City will be paving three streets that are currently in a state of disrepair and very much in need of resurfacing,” said Mayor Noble. “We look forward to having these streets in great condition, and expect to announce additional paving in the coming weeks.”
“As always, we ask for the public’s patience during the paving process,” said Ed Norman, Superintendent of Public Works. “Please do not move or go around barricades and please use caution when driving through an active construction zone. The safety of our crew is extremely important, and we ask for your cooperation.”
During paving, there may be detours and changes in traffic patterns. More information about paving projects in the City of Kingston can be found at https://kingston-ny.gov/paving.
