EXECUTIVE ORDER

In preparation for the Annual Kingston Artist Soapbox Derby on Sunday, August 20th, 2023 and in the
interest of assuring the safety of all residents and visitors to this area, certain traffic restrictions will be
in effect.
Therefore, I, Steven T. Noble, Mayor of the City of Kingston, by the power vested in me by the
Charter of the City of Kingston declare:
From 11:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. on Sunday August 20th, 2023, the street will be closed and
there will be No Parking on either side of Broadway from Garraghan Drive to East Strand
Street. The east side of this span of Broadway will operate as a two-way road, while the west
side is closed for the Derby.
There will also be No Parking on Spring St between Post Street and Broadway, as well as No
Parking in front of the Rondout Neighborhood Center.
The street will be closed and there will be No Parking on West Union St. from Post Street to
Broadway.
The street will be closed and there will be No Parking on Abeel Street from Post Street to
Broadway.
