EXECUTIVE ORDER

In preparation for the Annual Kingston Artist Soapbox Derby on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 and in the interest
of assuring the safety of all residents and visitors to this area, certain traffic restrictions will be in effect.
Therefore, I, Steven T. Noble, Mayor of the City of Kingston, by the power vested in me by the Charter of the
City of Kingston declare:
From 11:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. on Sunday August 18th, 2024, the street will be closed and there will
be No Parking on either side of Broadway from Garraghan Drive to East Strand Street. The east side of
this span of Broadway will operate as a two-way road, while the west side is closed for the Derby.
There will also be No Parking on Spring St between Post Street and Broadway, as well as No Parking in
front of the Rondout Neighborhood Center.
The street will be closed and there will be No Parking on West Union St. from Post Street to Broadway.
The street will be closed and there will be No Parking on Abeel Street from Post Street to Broadway.
