EXECUTIVE ORDER
Issued October 30th, 2024
In preparation for the final paving of the Uptown Transportation Project, and in the interest of assuring
the safety of all residents and visitors to this area, certain traffic restrictions will be in effect.
Therefore, I, Steven T. Noble, Mayor of the City of Kingston, by the power vested in me by the Charter
of the City of Kingston declare:
From 6:00am and 6:00pm, November 4th through November 7th, 2024, Albany Avenue from
Maiden Lane to Clinton Ave will be closed.
Additionally, during that timeframe, Clinton Avenue in the northwest bound direction will be
closed from Maiden Lane to John Street.
Access to Clinton Avenue from John Street and Westbrook Lane will be limited access only to
serve the businesses on Clinton Avenue and the Governor Clinton Building that are within the
work zone for the asphalt paving operation.
From November 4th through November 7th, 2024, all day, there will be No Parking at the following
locations:
• First 3 spots on Maiden Lane from Albany Avenue
• First 3 spots on Maiden Lane from Clinton Avenue
• First 3 spots on Maiden Lane from Wall Street
• First 3 spots on Wall Street from Maiden Lane
• First 3 spots on south side Pearl Street at Albany Avenue
• First 250’ on Albany Ave from Clinton Ave (in front of 1 Albany Ave)
