MUSIC IN THE PARKS/MOVIES UNDER THE STARS FINAL PERFORMANCES
Come down to Gallo Park on the waterfront August 27 for the final Music in the Park concert when Pointe of Praise will be performing to entertain our local residents. The performance starts at 6pm.
The final Movie Under the Stars film will also be at Gallo Park on Friday, August 29. The movie “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” will start at 8:15pm.
Mayor Gallo offered, “We brought the Music in the Parks and Movies Under the Stars back for residents to enjoy a venue of different listening pleasures and movie offerings during the summer months. I appreciate the efforts of the Parks and Recreation Department, City Clerk’s Office, Planning Office and the community volunteers who helped coordinate to make these programs a success with a very limited budget. All the groups donated their musical performances. City employees and other community residents volunteered every Friday during the summer months to ensure the shows went on.”
